The Fibroid Treatment Collective is unique in that we are a medical group solely devoted to fibroids with a special emphasis on embolization. FTC introduced embolization to America over a decade ago. We are responsible for thousands of successful treatments and actively train other physicians to perform this safe, non-surgical procedure.

Dr. McLucas is an OB-GYN who is also qualified to perform uterine artery embolizations. He founded the Fibroid Treatment Collective more than 12 years ago and his team performed the first embolization in the US at UCLA in 1994. Today he travels the world to teach doctors in other countries about embolization.

The Fibroid Treatment Collective regularly holds seminars and webinars about Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE). Our goal is to spread awareness that a non-surgical treatment exists and to inform people of UFE’s benefits. These events also provide an opportunity to ask questions, talk to the medical staff, and hear from our UFE patients.
